Professor Miriam Coronel-Ferrer was the chair of that peace panel, and it was particularly for her service as the primary feminine chief negotiator of a peace settlement in historical past that she was named a Ramon Magsaysay Awardee in 2023. She can also be a trustee of the Worldwide Disaster Group and a founding member of the Southeast Asian Girls Peace Negotiators.

Yasmin Busrao-Lao was a member of that peace panel. She had served as chair of the Nationwide Fee on Muslim Filipinos, and in 2005 acquired the Benigno S. Aquino Fellowship Award for public service.
