WASHINGTON, April 17 (Reuters) – America imposed sanctions on Friday on 5 firms and people it mentioned had been concerned in recruiting former Colombian army personnel to combat on behalf of a paramilitary group in Sudan.

“This community has fueled the battle, which has given rise to one of many world’s worst humanitarian crises and famines,” the Treasury Division mentioned in a press release.
