The Trump administration late Saturday directed states that they need to “instantly undo” any actions they’ve made to supply advantages to low-income households through the Supplemental Vitamin Help Program (SNAP).
“To the extent States despatched full SNAP cost recordsdata for November 2025, this was unauthorized. Accordingly, States should instantly undo any steps taken to subject full SNAP advantages for November 2025,” the U.S. Division of Agriculture mentioned in a launch. “Please advise the suitable FNS Regional Workplace consultant of steps taken to right any actions taken that don’t adjust to this memorandum.”
The directive follows an administrative keep granted by the U.S. Supreme Courtroom late Friday quickly blocking a decrease court docket order that ordered the Trump administration to pay SNAP advantages in full for November.
