Plaintiffs in a proposed class-action lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court docket on Tuesday mentioned they “didn’t get what they paid for” in shopping for World Cup tickets by way of StubHub. One California resident mentioned she used the platform to purchase three tickets for a complete of $1,905 for a June 18 recreation at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, however then found that StubHub had canceled the order. The criticism additionally alleges that StubHub is not licensed to promote World Cup tickets and that the platform did not honor its “FanProtect Assure,” which is supposed to make sure the authenticity of World Cup tickets bought on StubHub.
