Pakistani officers repo almost 1,000 casualties amongst Afghan Taliban forces and allied militants in latest cross-border clashes. The escalation marks a pointy rise in tensions alongside the shared border.

Pakistani Casualty Claims

Data Minister Attaullah Tarar said that at the very least 415 fighters had been killed and over 580 wounded in airstrikes and floor engagements since Thursday. He detailed the destruction of 182 Afghan checkpoints, 185 tanks, armored automobiles, and aillery items throughout 46 focused areas nationwide.

Afghan Counter-Claims

Afghan authorities spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat repoed 78 deaths from three days of border preventing, together with 12 Pakistani troopers, one civilian, 13 Afghan troopers, and 52 Afghan civilians—primarily girls and youngsters—in Paktika, Khost, Kunar, Nangarhar, and Kandahar provinces. Timeline of the Conflict
