Lou Cannon, a Washington Submit reporter who turned the preeminent biographer of Ronald Reagan, chronicling the previous actor’s election as California governor, his lengthy pursuit of the presidency and his two phrases within the White Home, died Dec. 19 at a hospice facility in Santa Barbara, California. He was 92.
