How Newsom's Redistricting Plan May Backfire

Newsom’s eagerness is comprehensible. At a time when Democrats in California and nationally need extra combativeness from their politicians, Newsom is participating in a private conflict with the forty seventh president with very excessive stakes that he claims he can win.
