Rep. Dan Newhouse, R-Wash., one of many few Republicans who voted to question President Donald Trump in 2021, introduced on Wednesday that he is not going to search re-election in 2026.

Newhouse was considered one of 10 Home Republicans who supported the impeachment effort. Along with Valadao, the others had been Reps. Liz Cheney of Wyoming; Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio; Jaime Herrera-Beutler of Washington; John Katko of New York; Adam Kinzinger of Illinois; Peter Meijer of Michigan; Tom Rice of South Carolina, and Fred Upton of Michigan.
