As Disney’s Hercules continues its triumphant run on the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London’s West Finish, the manufacturing is extending its life past the stage with the discharge of the Unique London Solid Recording on vinyl, CD and digital platforms. Including a brand new dimension to the rating, one of many present’s most beloved numbers, ‘Nice Bolts of Thunder’, can even be launched as a standalone single, reimagined in a remix by legendary digital music duo Basement Jaxx.

Final 12 months, Disney Theatrical Group, in partnership with Disney Music Group/Walt Disney Information, launched the HerculesUnique London Solid Recording on vinyl, CD and digital platforms. The album brings collectively the much-loved songs from the 1997 animated movie – together with ‘Go the Distance’, ‘Zero to Hero’ and ‘I Received’t Say (I’m in Love)’ – alongside a set of newly written numbers created particularly for the stage musical by Alan Menken (music) and David Zippel (lyrics).
Commenting on the productions shock new collaboration with Basement Jaxx, Alan says: “We had been so glad to listen to that DJ royalty Basement Jaxx had been on board to remix ‘Nice Bolts of Thunder’. The tune has been a favorite in our new musical, Hercules, and it’s nice to see it tackle a brand new life with this remix.
With David including: “We beloved writing the brand new songs for the musical, and this remix brings a complete new vitality to ‘Nice Bolts of Thunder’. We’re excited for the tune to have a brand new life on the dance flooring!”
