President Donald Trump is pardoning key figures concerned within the efforts to overturn the 2020 election, in keeping with Ed Martin, the US Pardon Lawyer.
These pardoned embody Rudy Giuliani, John Eastman, Mark Meadows, Christina Bobb and Boris Epshteyn, amongst others.
“This proclamation ends a grave nationwide injustice perpetrated upon the American individuals following the 2020 Presidential Election and continues the method of nationwide reconciliation,” the pardon says.
The pardon language explicitly states that it doesn’t apply to Trump himself. “This pardon doesn’t apply to the president of the US,” in keeping with the pardon.
