The official trailer has been launched for The Testomony of Ann Lee. Searchlight’s synopsis reads: “From award-winning writer-director Mona Fastvoldcomes the extraordinary true legend of Ann Lee, founding father of the devotional sect often known as the Shakers. Academy Award nominee Amanda Seyfried stars because the Shaker’s irrepressible chief, who preached gender and social equality and was revered by her followers.”
