Toyota is recalling greater than 73,000 hybrid automobiles over a pedestrian warning sound concern, in line with the Nationwide Freeway Site visitors Security Administration (NHTSA).

“As such, these automobiles fail to adjust to the necessities of Federal Motor Automobile Security Commonplace (FMVSS) quantity 141, ‘Minimal Sound Necessities for Hybrid and Electrical Autos,'” the company continued.
A complete of 73,528 automobiles are affected by the recall, though solely about 1% of them are more likely to have the defect.

The recall numbers are 26TB08 and 26TA08.
Toyota sellers will replace the software program on the affected automobiles freed from cost to repair the pedestrian warning sounds.
