A skier in his 60s has died following a critical fall on Aonach Mor, a 4,000ft peak within the Scottish Highlands close to Ben Nevis.
The incident came about round 2pm on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, whereas the person was snowboarding within the Nevis Vary space close to Torlundy. Emergency providers rushed to the scene and transported him to a hospital, the place he succumbed to his accidents the next day, Wednesday, February 18.
