The province of Dinagat Islands plunged into darkness on Monday, November 3, as Storm Tino (Kalmaegi) moved nearer to land, Dinagat Islands Consultant Arlene “Kaka” Bag-ao stated.

She stated all seven cities of Dinagat Islands — Basilisa, Cagdianao, Dinagat, Libjo, Loreto, San Jose, and Tubajon — misplaced energy by dusk, hampering evacuation efforts.

Bag-ao stated the downpour within the province started round 3 pm.
