To the editor:What is occurring to downtown Los Angeles is hardly solely due to what is occurring in downtown Los Angeles (“Central Metropolis Assn. says companies need assistance to bounce again from raids and tariffs,” July 16).
Two key causes individuals from elsewhere within the area don’t go there: The out there public transit feels unsafe and unsightly (and that’s placing it properly), and driving there from as little as 10 miles away can typically take as much as two hours. In brief, it’s no small effort to get there within the first place.
