To the editor: The article that mentions town of L.A.’s lack of ability to construct and keep sidewalks fails to say probably the most aggrieved get together: folks in wheelchairs like my spouse (“Greater than $100 million for transportation tasks in jeopardy amid L.A. funds woes,” Feb. 27). We purchased an accessible van with a facet ramp and constructed a concrete path from the sidewalk to the curb. The ramp lowers onto the trail, however the van have to be parked in the appropriate place.
