To the editor: How disappointing that the Home Subcommittee on Conservation, Analysis, and Biotechnology couldn’t discover it inside themselves to move U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu’s (D-Torrance) invoice banning glue traps (“Lovely nice horned owl rescued from sticky, lethal entice. Will it fly once more?,” Aug. 16). That the great folks on the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Heart have rehabilitated 8,600 injured animals is however a drop within the bucket.
Even when one dislikes rodents, there isn’t a have to torture them to demise. This invoice must be reintroduced to be able to defend each wild animals and home pets.
