Whereas each Simpson and Knoxville denied allegations that that they had an inappropriate relationship on the time, the singer detailed their alleged emotional affair in her 2020 memoir, Open E-book.
“I felt a pressure drawing us collectively,” Simpson wrote about Knoxville, who was married to his first spouse, Melanie Lynn Clapp, on the time. “To me, an emotional affair was worse than a bodily one.
