Ellie Goulding has been awarded an MBE in King Charles’ New Yr Honours Listing.

The 39-year-old singer – who’s a worldwide environmental ambassador for the UN – has been made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for companies to biodiversity and the local weather.
Different music stars included among the many 1,157 folks on the record are Cynthia Erivo and actor /DJ Idris Elba, 53.
Cynthia, 38, has been made an MBE for companies to music and drama and mentioned it’s one thing “I may by no means have thought would occur”.
She went on: “I hope it reveals that I care deeply concerning the work and can proceed to take action to the perfect of my skills.”
Sir Idris – whose Elba Hope Basis helps youth advocacy – was included on the monarch’s record for his work campaigning in opposition to knife crime.
He mentioned: “I obtain this honour on behalf of the various younger folks whose expertise, ambition and resilience has pushed the work of the Elba Hope Basis.
“I hope we will do extra to attract consideration to the significance of sustained, sensible help for younger folks and to the duty all of us share to assist them discover a substitute for violence.”
Actor and presenter Warwick Davis, creator Richard Osman and Little Britain comic Matt Lucas have all been awarded OBEs, whereas comic Invoice Bailey, actress Sally Lindsay and kids’s TV star Paul Elliott, from the Chuckle Brothers, have all been made MBEs.
