CEBU, Philippines – Cebu-based activist teams have begun staging protests as extra allegations of corruption start to floor from Senate and congressional inquiries into the nation’s flood management tasks.
The PLM (Partido Lakas ng Masa) in Cebu carried out a noise barrage in entrance of the Metro Gaisano Buying Mall alongside Colon Avenue in Cebu Metropolis.
Protesters lambasted public officers allegedly concerned in anomalies surrounding flood management funds. The group mentioned that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. should even be held accountable since he’s finally chargeable for approving the annual nationwide funds.
Two different group noise barrage actions had been concurrently carried out in Barangay Mabolo in Cebu Metropolis and Barangay Tingub in Mandaue Metropolis.
