A person arrested by French police earlier this week is considered the fourth member of the workforce that stole France’s crown jewels in a brazen heist from the Louvre Museum, the Paris prosecutor stated Friday.

Prosecutor Laure Beccuau, whose workplace is heading the investigation, stated the 39-year-old man has a legal report, with six earlier convictions.

He has now been handed preliminary prices of theft by an organized gang, punishable by 15 years imprisonment, and legal conspiracy, which may carry a 10-year sentence if he’s convicted for his suspected position within the gorgeous Oct. 19 theft on the world’s most-visited museum.
