To the editor: These inmates will in some unspecified time in the future be again in society and be our neighbors (“California prisons clamp down on additional time, restrict entry to lessons for incarcerated individuals,” June 28). What do we would like then? Individuals who’ve gotten some schooling and job coaching, or individuals who’ve been languishing in cells and studying tips on how to be higher crooks?
Eradicating schooling, job coaching and anger administration alternatives shouldn’t be the best way towards rehabilitation and public security.
