Dr Pirrong is Professor of Finance, and Vitality Markets Director for the International Vitality Administration Institute on the Bauer Faculty of Enterprise of the College of Houston. He was beforehand Watson Household Professor of Commodity and Monetary Danger Administration at Oklahoma State College, and a college member on the College of Michigan, the College of Chicago, and Washington College. Professor Pirrong’s analysis focuses on the group of monetary exchanges, derivatives clearing, competitors between exchanges, commodity markets, derivatives market manipulation, the relation between market fundamentals and commodity value dynamics, and the implications of this relation for the pricing of commodity derivatives. He has printed 30 articles in skilled publications, is the writer of three books, and has consulted broadly, totally on commodity and market manipulation-related points. He holds a Ph.D. in enterprise economics from the College of Chicago.
