The federal government started rolling out a P10-per-liter gas subsidy for jeepney and UV Categorical drivers on Tuesday, April 14, in response to rising gas prices pushed by tensions within the Center East.
The subsidy is capped at 150 liters per week per beneficiary.
As of writing, this system is obtainable solely at chosen gasoline stations in Metro Manila. Nonetheless, it’s anticipated to develop to different components of the nation within the coming weeks, in accordance with Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Chairman Vigor Mendoza III.
