To the editor: Because the proud mom of an exquisite trans daughter, visitor contributor Darren Rosenblum’s op-ed broke my coronary heart (“Anti-trans legal guidelines aren’t defending ladies or anybody, solely doing hurt,” March 16).
“Merely put, the legislation seeks to ban trans folks from public life.” To study that, roughly, 1,700 Kansans can now not have driver’s licenses that replicate their gender id is, as acknowledged, nothing greater than an train in inexplicable cruelty.
I’m going to exit on a limb and enterprise to say that a lot of the crimes being dedicated in Kansas aren’t being finished by that tiny group of trans folks. However I suppose that leaves almost 3 million Kansans who will now really feel safer and sleep higher at night time realizing that lastly … what precisely would they know?
