The undefeated Cal State East Bay males’s basketball staff continued its historic run, clinching the California Collegiate Athletic Affiliation Match title with an 80-63 win over Cal Poly Humboldt in Pomona on Saturday night time.
The Pioneers (30-0) captured their first convention match championship and earned their first ever berth into the NCAA Division II Match.
Cal State’s Jaayden Bush was named CCAA Match MVP whereas teammates Josh Ijeh and Tyree Campbell earned All-Match Crew honors.
Bush led all scorers with a season excessive 23 factors, capturing 7-of-14 from the sphere whereas including 5 rebounds and two steals. Jalen Foy had 13 factors and 5 rebounds, whereas Ijeh had a game-high 15 rebounds to go together with 12 factors.
