In June, the Nationwide Transportation Security Board (NTSB) concluded that “a number of system failures” by Boeing and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) led to the incident. 

Fisher’s lawsuit alleges that Boeing denied duty whereas defending a associated class-action lawsuit, arguing its merchandise had been “improperly maintained or misused by individuals and/or entities apart from Boeing.”
