To the editor: Many lecturers within the California State College system are being informed that, attributable to funds cuts, their lessons are being diminished and infrequently eradicated. As well as, it’s more durable for departments to rent new tenure-track college.
Nonetheless, I suppose high executives can nonetheless afford to provide themselves pay raises (“Greater pay permitted for Cal State executives as system struggles to recruit campus presidents,” Nov. 20).
CSU Chancellor Mildred García stated, “We should hold tempo to draw and retain a talented, numerous and engaged workforce.” It’s a disgrace that her phrases seemingly apply solely to workers making salaries properly into the six figures.
