The Neighbourhood is formally again. The chart-topping alt-rock band has introduced their long-awaited new album, (((((ultraSOUND))))), out November 14 by way of Warner Information. The discharge marks the band’s first full-length studio challenge in 5 years — and the start of a daring new period.

“Non-public” rides on a susceptible groove constructed from a GarageBand drum loop and a vocal that frontman Jesse Rutherford initially recorded on his cellphone.
“Lovebomb,” born from a Jono-and-Abels loop, captures the dizzying fallout of claiming “I like you” too quickly.
“OMG” finds energy in dedication — “by your facet, collectively on the trip, tornado or a tidal wave. Rain or shine, you’re all the time on my thoughts.”
Mixing the uncooked grit of ‘90s alt-rock with the band’s signature California cool, (((((ultraSOUND))))) feels each nostalgic and forward-thinking. There’s a moody, introspective undercurrent all through — a stability of grunge and psychedelia that highlights The Neighbourhood’s evolution with out dropping the hazy attract that made them a worldwide phenomenon within the first place.
Lyrically, the report digs deep into heartbreak, disillusionment, and self-reflection. It’s intimate and unfiltered — a pure subsequent step for a band that has all the time worn its feelings on its sleeve.
