Searchlight Footage has formally set a launch date for The Testomony of Ann Lee, a musical drama starring Academy Award nominee Amanda Seyfried as Ann Lee, the visionary founding father of the Shaker motion.
The movie made its world premiere final month on the 2025 Venice Worldwide Movie Pageant, the place Seyfried’s efficiency drew widespread acclaim. Early reward has already positioned her as a powerful contender for a Greatest Actress nomination on the upcoming Academy Awards.
The Testomony of Ann Lee will debut in choose theaters on December 25, strategically timed for awards season. Since Venice, the movie has earned a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer.
