Earlier Wednesday, FHFA Director Invoice Pulte posted an announcement on X, calling for Congress to research Powell’s alleged misleading testimony, which he stated was adequate grounds for elimination.

Pulte quoted Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., who he stated claimed Powell “made plenty of factually inaccurate statements to the [Senate] Committee concerning the Fed’s plush non-public eating room and elevator, skylights, water options and roof terrace.”
