DZALEKA, Malawi — As darkness fell over the sprawling Dzaleka refugee camp in central Malawi on the night of Jan. 10, 4 women leaving a birthday celebration confronted a dilemma acquainted to many kids within the sprawling settlement.
The stroll dwelling via the camp’s poorly lit pathways felt too harmful. So, when a middle-aged man provided them meals, bedding and a spot to sleep, the women, aged between 12 and 15 years outdated, accepted.
