WASHINGTON — A federal appeals court docket has rejected a request by Joe Biden to dam the discharge of audio recordings and transcripts of his interviews with a memoir ghostwriter earlier than he was elected president.

A divided three-judge panel from the U.S. Courtroom of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit suspended its resolution till Aug. 3 to permit extra time for Biden to think about one other enchantment.
